A young alcoholic man, struggling to put his life back together with the help of his soap- opera actor friends, receives a surprise visit from his larger-than-life mother who has addiction issues of her own. Love and hate, guilt and remorse weave in and out of their relationship as they struggle to cope and understand.

CAST OF CHARACTERS INVOLVED IN THE SCENES
(In order of speaking)

PHYLLIS: Late 50s, arrives in NYC to pay an unexpected visit to her son, Robert. She is forced to look at her spoiled and selfish life that is riddled with deception, lies and alcohol.

ROBERT: Early 30s, has just celebrated one year in AA andis fully tested by the surprise visit of Phyllis, but finds he has the strength for a long-awaited battle for the truth.
